What to expect on results day

This year’s cohort of students will receive the results of their hard work on several different dates:

  • 13 August for A levels and other Level 3 vocational qualifications.
  • 20 August for GCSE and other Level 2 vocational qualifications.
  • Other qualifications will have different dates and your results will be shared when they are available.

We know many of you have faced uncertainty due to the pandemic and the cancellations of external exams. We wish you all the best of luck for your next steps.

How will I receive my results?

If you also wish to have your results posted to you, you can reply to the email we send you requesting this.

If you wish to come in collect in person, you’ll need to reply to the email and we will give you a specific appointment time to collect your results from us.

Please note, you should not attend any college centres on results day unless you have booked an appointment.

When will I receive my results?

We have emailed you to let you know when your results day is.

How was the task of calculating grades approached by the college?

As students and those supporting them will be aware, cancelled exams have meant grades have been awarded by schools and colleges using a new approach.

We’ve worked to guidelines given to us to ensure we’ve taken the fairest possible approach.

As there are many qualifications different rules have been applied, to find out what category your qualification falls into you can look it up using the Summer 2020 Qualification Explainer Tool.
