You will be assessed to find out your level of English, and you will study at the level that is best for you.

Who is this course for?

This course is for 16 to 18 year olds whose first language is not English.

We have courses to suit all abilities, including young people with little experience of formal education.

What you'll learn

You will learn English, maths, IT and life skills. 

Course entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, but you will need to have an interview and complete an assessment.

How is the course delivered and assessed?

You will be in college for 4 days a week.

You will have lessons which are all in person with qualified ESOL specialist teachers and study coaches.

You will take exams in English, maths and digital skills.

Future career and study opportunities

This course will enable you to improve your English.

This will help you to move on to vocational courses and to look for work where a good level of English is required.
